Our eventual plan is to live together in Ireland. Marco wants to maybe have some sheep! Which, I said was fine
.... as long as I don't have to touch them. Oh, and as long as he understood that when it came time for him to take
them to the butcher shop to be slaughtered for meat, that I would be hiding them. Anyway, although we would both
be willing to move there right now .... money, or lack of money I should say, is stopping us. Which means that we
need to make short-term plans that will help us reach that goal faster.
As it stands, we aren't exactly sure what our first set of plans will be. One possibility is that we will just live apart
until we are able to go together. Another possibility is that one of us moves in with the other so we can both work,
cut our bills in half, and reach our goal faster. Like I said, we don't know which will happen. This is something we
are talking about and trying to come up with the best all-around solution.
Either way, our future plans do not include any more visits to see each other. As much as we want to, we just
can't. If we do that, then we will blow any money saved in the process, thus making the wait for our final goal even
longer. We've gotten spoiled by a visit every 3-5 months, so this is gonna be tough. Very tough.
Which leaves the big question just dangling out there, waiting for an answer .... how long can we last being apart?
-Some people would say 'if you loved each other - you would be willing to wait forever'. Those people are in dire
need of some serious drugs. It's a hell of a lot harder than they think.
-Others would say 'forget it, it's never gonna work, so just end it now'. Well, those people can kiss my ass. This
too would be a hell of a lot harder than they think.
As you can see, I don't know the answer to that question. I know what my dream is, but I also live every day with
reality slapping me back down to earth. So, I will have to get back to you with the answer.
